India’s best and upcoming personal finance bloggers

by Radhey Sharma

miscellaneous reviews

Personal Finance Bloggers in India are growing by the day. Blogging is a new found passion that many have taken to either full time or as a part time activity.  Yours truly is a victim of this craze as well. While there are a whole lot of personal finance bloggers today, some stand out tall and mighty. Apart from blogging for years now, they have amassed a huge fan following who follow the blog articles diligently to learn and share. Let’s take a look at some of the best personal finance bloggers of India !

Manish Chauhan at JagoInvestor.com

Jago Investor

This qualifies as the best personal finance blog of India.

Manish writes very meticulous articles and very basic stuff which is closer to the everyday investor. He replies to every comments of readers – now that is not something which you get to see everyday.

JagoInvestor is spearheading investor awakening revolution in many cities in India through JagoInvestor meets.

The domain name is a major crowd puller – its got a magic that justifies its existence as a blog meant to do business of educating Indian investors. The blog has a major reach among readers – more than 4000 Feed burner readers !

I find the articles very useful, informative and simple to read. Watch out for the calculators section which are a plus. A must bookmark site. Keep reading !

Raag Vamdaat at RaagVamdatt.com

Raag moved from being a software professional to a financial planner and full time blogger of late.  His website boasts of to the point articlesRaag Vamdaat explained with examples wherever possible.

Raag has a huge fan following (12,000 registered users) and even a hindi version of his blog at http://www.paisaplanner.com/

You will love to read this too  Best Wishes for New Year 2016

Raag also provides financial planning services at a cost that is only going to kill the competition eventually. The model is amazing – providing services via the internet. That explains the farsightedness of the blogger.

I find the articles articulated very well and easy to understand. Another must read blog for starters and advanced personal finance readers.

Ranjan Varma at PersonalFinance201.com

Ranjan Varma runs three sites. He must be a busy man considering that Ranjan does this over and above his full time day job.

In his own words, he edits Personal Finance Online Resources, Ranjan Varmadelivers Financial Awareness Workshops and has built a desktop RupeeManager.

The money management software should be a mind blowing product as far as the pictures go, I have yet to see the product to comment.

Ranjan runs workshops on personal finance and financial health.

I find Ranjan’s articles very thought provoking – he has a different view on many aspects of personal finance. Learning and sharing things around money could not get any better than this.

Keep tuned to the three websites for more.

Want more personal finance bloggers ?

While these seem to be the best dudes around, below is a list of other personal bloggers who contribute to the personal finance blogging world in their own way. Some of them have already and the others will eventually impact the personal finance writing space in India.

1. P V Subramanyam at subramoney.com

Subra’s musings are very unique and short – they get your thinking cap on. Subra is a known personality in the personal finance world and has written a book and loads of articles till date for magazines and websites, so you know you are at the right place for the right information.

You will love to read this too  Know - Who is an Agent? … & Who is your Advisor? Part 1

2. Shweta Misra at personalmoney.in
